President Weah Congratulates President-Elect Cyril Ramaphosa on Electoral Victory -Promises to Deepen Cooperation with South Africa

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, President-Elect of the Republic of South Africa, on the occasion marking his election as President of that country.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah extended on behalf of Liberia, warmest felicitations and sincere best wishes to President-Elect Ramaphosa, and through him, to the Government and people of South Africa following his recent electoral victory.

 

President George Manneh Weah expressed hope that as President Ramaphosa continues the herculean task of shaping the future of his country the people of South Africa will enjoy the blessing of peace, unity and prosperity under his leadership.    

 

The Liberian Leader then assured his South African counterpart of Liberia’s determination to continue the cordial ties of friendship subsisting between Liberia and South Africa, as both leaders endeavor to promote the principles of International Peace and economic development under the ambits of the African Union and the United Nations.   

 

President Weah prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Ramaphosa with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to nobler heights.
