President Weah Declares Thursday, August 24th As National Flag Day

Monrovia Tuesday, August 22, 2023: The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has by proclamation declared Thursday, August 24, 2023, as National Flag Day and declared it to be observed throughout the Republic as a national holiday.

Liberia’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Amb. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., has called on the United Nations to create a trust fund in order to cater to the victims of sexual exploitation and abuse of United Nations uniform personnel in their country of assignment.
