President Weah Hails Israel on 71st Independence Celebration
President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the State of Israel on the occasion commemorating the 71st Independence Anniversary of that country.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to the Israeli Prime Minister His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the State Israel as they commemorate this historic event.
The Liberian leader prayed that as Israel celebrates this auspicious occasion, the bonds of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened for the betterment of the two governments and peoples.
President George Manneh Weah then wished that the Almighty God will endow Prime Minister Netanyahu with abundant wisdom, strength and good health as he leads his people to sustained peace and prosperity.
