President Weah Applauds Botswana on 53rd Independence Observance

President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and People of Botswana on the occasion marking the 53rd Independence Anniversary of that Country.  

 

In his message to His Excellency Mr. Mokgweetsi Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, President George Manneh Weah expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, to the Government and people of Botswana as they commemorate this historic and joyous occasion.    

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Liberian leader further expressed hope that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Botswana will be strengthened in the spirit of African Camaraderie.  

 

While expressing satisfaction over Liberia-Botswana relations, the Liberian President declared,  “as we work together in furtherance of deeper cooperation at the African Union (AU) and other International forums aimed at promoting peace and securities, our two countries will identify new areas of engagements for the mutual benefits of our two peoples”.

 

President Weah then prayed that the Almighty God will endow President Mokgweetsi Masisi with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads the people of Botswana to nobler heights.
