President Sirleaf Consoles Nepal Following An Earthquake

The President of the Republic of Liberia Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to  the Government and People of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal following an earthquake that occurred in Kathmandu and other surrounding towns that led to  the death of over 7,500 persons in that country.

 

In the message to her Neapolitan counterpart His Excellency Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, and through him to the Government and Peoples of Nepal, President Johnson Sirleaf extended profound sorrow especially to the families and love ones of those who lost their lives as a result of the disaster, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.

 

President Sirleaf extended her heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss as the People of Nepal mourn the loss of their compatriots and prayed that the Almighty God will grant President Yadav and the People of Nepal strength, courage and fortitude during this difficult period.
