The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a Congratulatory Message to the Government and People of Botswana on the occasion commemorating the 49^th Independence Anniversary of that country.

In her message to His Excellency Lieutenant General Secretse Khama Ian Khama, President of the Republic of Botswana, the Liberian leader stated “On behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Liberia and in my own name, it gives me a great pleasure to convey to Your Excellency, the Government and People of Botswana warmest felicitations on the occasion marking the 49th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Botswana”.

President Johnson Sirleaf also wished for President Ian Khama personal well being as well as for a future of prosperity for the people of Botswana, as President Khama steers the affairs of his country.
