H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, has sent a congratulatory message to the President-elect of the United States of America, Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah extended congratulations and best wishes to the President of the United States of America on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in his own name.

The Liberian leader expressed hope that the people of the United States under Honorable Biden’s leadership will continue to enjoy the blessings of peace, unity and prosperity.

President Weah noted that as the world faces global challenges of COVID-19, Climate change, etc, Liberia will not relent in collaborating with the United States in mitigating these global challenges.

The Liberian leader looked forward to working with President-elect Biden to further strengthen the long historic and unique bilateral relations; in the interest of our peoples and global peace, security and solidarity.
