The Government of the Republic of Liberia, through the Office of the Chief of Protocol, announces the funeral arrangements for the late Honorable Geraldine Doe Sheriff, Senator of Montserrado County of the 54^th National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia.

The Book of Condolence for the late Honorable Geraldine Doe Sheriff, Senator of Montserrado County of the 54^th National Legislature, Republic of Liberia, will be opened in the Rotunda of the Capitol Building on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, March 12^th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Wednesday, March 13^th, from 10:00am to 4:00p.m.

The signing of the Book of Condolence for the late Montserrado Senator will take place at the capitol building as follow:

Meanwhile, On Thursday, March 14, 2019, the remains of the late Senator Doe-Sheriff will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Parlors in Sinkor and taken to the Capitol Building to lie in State at 10 O’clock ante meridian. Afterwards, the body will be returned to the Funeral Parlors.

Also, on Friday, March 15, 2019, wake keeping of the late Honorable Senator will be held at the home of the sister of the deceased in Congo Town from 6:00pm to 12 midnight.

On Saturday, March 16, 2019, the body of the late Senator of Montserrado County will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Parlors at 8:30 ante meridian and conveyed to the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Broad Street, Monrovia for one hour of Wake-Keeping from 10 O’clock ante meridian to 11 O’clock ante meridian.   

The Government of Liberia further announces that on Saturday, March 16^th, funeral rites will be said over the remains of the late Honorable Geraldine Doe Sheriff at the same venue beginning 11 O’clock ante meridian and will be followed by interment at the Kaizer Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Brewerville, Montserrado County.
