The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of Bulgaria on the occasion commemorating the 138^th Anniversary of that country’s liberation.

In her message to His Excellency, Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, President Sirleaf, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and in her own name, expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency and the Government and people of Bulgaria.

The Liberian leader wished that as Bulgaria celebrates this very significant day, it is her hope that together, Liberia and Bulgaria, will discover ways to economically benefit their two peoples. “As you celebrate this very significant day, we fervently wish that together we will explore the possibilities for economic cooperation in areas of shared interest which will prove mutually rewarding to our two countries and peoples, whilst contributing to the promotion of world peace and security,” she indicated.

President Sirleaf further wished H.E. Plevneliev good health and happiness, and for the people of Bulgaria, the blessings of peace and spiraling prosperity.
