The President of the Africa Union Commission, Jean Ping arrives in Liberia on Wednesday on a two day visit. The AU Commission President is to hold discussions with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and other Senior Liberian Government officials.

The discussion according to a Foreign Ministry Release will center on political and other developments on the African continent as well as the African Union Commission itself. Mr. Ping visit to Liberia comes ahead of the African Union Summit which takes place in July in the Ethiopian Capital, Addis Ababa
