President Weah Hails Guinea Bissau on 45th Independence Observance

The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau on the occasion commemorating the 45th independence Anniversary of that country.

 

In the message to His Excellency Jose Mario Vaz, President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Guinea Bissau as they celebrate this historic milestone.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah assured President Jose Mario Vaz of his government’s determination to continue the cordial relations subsisting between the two countries.

 

President George Manneh Weah then expressed confidence that the relations between the two countries will continue to be strengthen as the two leaders endeavor to promote the principles of international peace and economic development under the ambits of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the United Nations and African Union.

 

The Liberian President prayed that as Guinea Bissau celebrates another year of independence, the Almighty God will continue to strengthen President Jose Mario Vaz as he leads his people to noble height.
