President George Manneh Weah has warmly extended felicitations and best wishes to the Government and People of the Republic of Turkey on the Observance of the 95thAnniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Republic of Turkey is today, Monday, October 29, 2018 commemorating its 95^th anniversary of the Proclamation. 

In his message to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Republic of Turkey as they celebrate this historic milestone.

“As your great people commemorate this milestone, we note the marked accomplishments of your country under your leadership, including the deepening of ties between our two countries,” President Weah declared.

President George Manneh Weah further noted with satisfaction the steady stream of Turkish commercial and business executive’s regular visits to Liberia in recent time.

He expressed confidence that these engagements will yield lasting results that would bring mutual benefits to the two countries and peoples.

The Liberian leader used the occasion topledge Liberia’s commitment to working closely with Turkey, aimed at achieving both nations’ shared goals and aspirations.

President Weah then wished for his Turkish counterpart, personal success and for the Government and people of Turkey, sustained prosperity and happiness.
