The President of the Republic of Liberia His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a message of congratulations to His Majesty Willem-Alexander, King of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on the birthday celebration and the National Day of that great country on April 27, 2024. 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai extended warmest felicitations to the Government and people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia and in his own name.

In his message to His Majesty Willem-Alexander, President Boakai stressed that as the people of Netherlands celebrate this historical event, he wished that the longstanding relations subsisting between the two countries which is characterized by cordiality and harmony will be heightened and new mutually beneficial spheres explored to cement our relations in areas such as Agriculture, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation and Tourism. 

He then wished for his Majesty continued good health and happiness and for the people of the Netherlands renewed progress and prosperity.
