President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and people of the State of Libya on the occasion marking the 68^th Independence Anniversary of that country.  

In the message to His Excellency Mohammed Yusuf Al- Magariaf, President of the General National Congress, President George Manneh Weah on behalf of Liberia conveyed heartfelt felicitations and best wishes to the Government and people of the State of Libya, as they observe this historic milestone.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Liberian President expressed confidence that as the people of Libya celebrate this historic milestone, the cordial Friendship and corporation subsisting between the two countries, in the spirit of continued Corporation and partnership, will be further strengthened for the mutual benefits of both countries and peoples.  

The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty Allah will continue to endow President Al- Magariaf with abundant wisdom, strength and good health as he leads his people to sustained peace and prosperity.
