President Weah Extols Singapore, Chad on 54th and 59th Independence Celebrations
President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and people of the Republic of Singapore on the occasion commemorating the 54th Independence Anniversary of that country.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to the President of the Republic of Singapore, Her Excellency Halimah Yacob, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended warmest congratulations to the Government and people of Singapore as they celebrate this historic event.
The Liberian President expressed hope that the ties of friendship subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened in the years ahead.
The Liberian President also prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Halimah Yacob with abundant wisdom and strength as she leads her compatriots to greater prosperity.
In a related development, President George Manneh Weah has also sent a congratulated the Government and people of the Republic of Chad on the occasion marking that country’s 59th Independence celebration.
President of the Republic of Chad, President George Manneh Weah , on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Chad as they observe this great milestone.
In the massage to His Excellency Idriss Deby, President of the Republic of Chad, President Weah expressed hoped that as Liberians join their Chadian counterparts in observing this historic occasion, the band of friendship subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be strengthened in the spirit of Pan-African Cooperation and the principles of the African Union.
The Liberian President also prayed that the Almighty God continues to endow President Deby with wisdom as he leads his people to greater prosperity.
