President Weah Hails Tunisia On 62nd Independence Observance

The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E.  George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the Republic of Tunisia on the auspicious occasion commemorating the 62nd Independence Anniversary of that country.

 

The Day which was established on March 20, 1956 to commemorate Tunisia's independence from France is known as Tunisia's national holiday.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to his Tunisian counterpart, His Excellency Mohamed Beji Caid Essebsi, President George Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Tunisia as they commemorate this historic event.

 

The Liberian President further hoped that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Tunisia will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two nations  

 

The Liberian leader also prayed that as the two nations continue their collaboration in furtherance of international peace, security and economic cooperation amongst nations the Almighty Allah will endow President Essebsi with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to greater prosperity.
