The President of the Republic of Liberia, H. E. Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent a Congratulations message to the Government and people the Republic of Ghana on the occasion marking that country’s Independence.

In the message to His Excellency Mr. Nana AKUFO-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, President George Manneh Weah convey to the  Government and People of  the Republic of Ghana, warmest felicitations and best wishes on occasion of the 65^th Independence Anniversary of that great country and entertained the hope that as Liberia join in celebrating this historic day, he entertain the hope that the cordial ties  of friendship and cooperation subsisting between our two countries and people will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.

The Liberian President said he hope that as he look forward to continue to collaborate with Ghana, to work together in furtherance of the principles of the Economic Community of West African States, the African Union and the United Nations for the promotion of regional and international peace and security.

President Weah prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo with abundant wisdom and good health as him lead his compatriots to greater prosperity.
