President Weah Extols Hungary on National Day Observance

President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and People of the Republic of Hungary on the occasion commemorating Saint Stephen’s Day.

 

St. Stephen's Day is celebrated in Hungary on August 20th each year. It is also known as “Foundation Day “and “Constitution Day” and is the official state holiday of Hungary.  

 

In the Message to His Excellency Janos ADER, President of the Republic of Hungary, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt felicitation and best wishes to the Government and people of Hungary as they commemorate this historic event.    

 

 The Liberian leader recalled how much the relations between Liberia and Hungary have improved significantly since the Hungary Ambassador Andras Szabo presented his credentials to the Liberia leader.  

   

President Weah also expressed confidence that the two Governments will explore all prevailing opportunities that exist to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields including Agriculture, Industry and Water Management.

 

President Weah then wished for President ADER and his family good health and festive moment as they celebrate this historic event.
