The President of the Republic of Liberia His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the kingdom of Spain on the auspicious occasion marking the celebration of the national day of that country.

In the massage to His Majesty King Felipe VI, King of Spain, President George Manneh Weah noted that as we reflect on the devastation the Corona-virus pandemic (COVID-19) has cause the world, it is our ardent prayer that Liberia and the Kingdom of Spain will work ever closer within the spirit of bilateral and multilateral cooperation to eradicate this global pandemic which has serious effects on our social and economic well-being.

President Weah also applaud the friendly relations subsisting between the peoples of Liberia and Spain and pray that this will continue to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our mutual cooperation in thee spheres, agriculture, capacity building and infrastructural development.
