The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has Congratulated the Government and People of the Czech Republic on the auspicious occasion commemorating the National Day Anniversary of that Country on October 28, 2024. According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to His Excellency Mr. Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, President Joseph N. Boakai, Sr., on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Liberia, and on his own behalf, expressed his delight and extended warm congratulations to the Government and People of the Czech Republic as they celebrate this historic event.

The Liberia leader added, "As we join you in the celebration of this historic even, we look forward to strengthening the bilateral and multilateral relations subsisting between our two governments and peoples." He entertained the ardent hope that the friendship between the two countries will continue to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of their mutual cooperation. The Liberian leader further expressed his earnest desire that, under his administration the two countries will add new impetus to their relationship aimed at expanding cooperation between the both nations specifically in the areas of agriculture, roads, energy, rule of law and tourism. The Liberian Chief Executive also extended his sincere best wishes for President Petr Pavel personal well-being, and for the continued peace and prosperity of his family as well as the people of Czech Republic.
