President Weah Congratulates Poland on Independence Day Observance

His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, on the occasion celebrating the Independence Anniversary of that country.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah expressed delights and extended sincere congratulations to President Duda, and through him, to the Government of Poland as they commemorate this festive holiday.

 

The Liberian leader recalled the achievements accrued in the bilateral relations since the two countries established diplomatic relations far back in 1934.

 

“My government will always acknowledge with thanks your country’s contribution to Liberia’s national development agenda on the international scene”, President Weah said.

 

 President Weah expressed ardent hope that the relationship between both countries will be strengthened to include joint ventures in agriculture, capacity building, industry and trade.

 

He then extended best wishes for President Andrzej Duda personal wellbeing and for the people of Poland, sustained peace and prosperity.
