President Sirleaf Consoles Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a condolence message to the Government and people of the Republic of Ghana, following the death of Madam Hajia Abiba Nnaba, mother of President John Dramani Mahama.
Madam Hajia Abiba Nnaba, 85, a devout Muslim, died at the Trust Hospital in Accra, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Her remains will be interred in her hometown of Busunu in the West Gonja District in the Northern Region on Friday, June 17, 2016.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to her Ghanaian counterpart, President Sirleaf extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in her own name, to the Ghanaian President, and through him, to the Government and people of Ghana especially the bereaved family for the irreparable loss sustained.
President Johnson Sirleaf further prayed that Almighty Allah will grant President Mahama strength and courage to overcome this great loss sustained.
