Liberia Consoles Nigeria For The Death Of 70 Persons

The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency, Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to the Government and People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the death of 70 persons as a result of a fuel tanker crash on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Onitsha, Southeastern Nigeria.

 

In her Message to her Nigerian counterpart, H.E. General Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs. Johnson Sirleaf extended on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name heartfelt condolences to the Government and People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, especially the bereaved families and love ones of the victims for the irreparable loss.

 

"As the people of Nigeria mourn the loss of their compatriots, I pray that God Almighty will continue to strengthen you during this period", President Johnson Sirleaf stated.
