The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion commemorating the 65^th Independence Anniversary of that country.

In the message to the Chinese President H.E.  XI Jinping, President Johnson Sirleaf on behalf of Liberia, extended warmest felicitations and best wishes to the Chinese leader, and through him, to the Government and People China.

The Liberia leader expressed hope that the great people of China will continue to prosper under the prudent policies of the Chinese Government that have contributed to China’s phenomenal economic growth and prosperity acknowledging China’s continued support to Liberia, especially in the fight against the deadly Ebola virus disease.
