AMBASSADOR DR. BRAHIMA D KABA PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SENEGAL ON DECEMBER 12 2012

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to Senegal, His Excellency  Dr. Brahima D. Kaba presented his Letters of Credence to the Senegalese President His Excellency Macky Sall at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday, 12 December  2012.



Ambassador Kaba was escorted from his Residence to the Presidential Palace by the Diplomatic Protocol Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and received by Ambassador Bruno Diatta, Chief of Protocol at the Presidential Palace.  He was accompanied by two Diplomats of the Embassy. Upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace, the Ambassador was met by the Commander of the Presidential Guard of Honour of the Palace, where military honours were then rendered to the Ambassador by the Guard of Honour.


Importantly, on the occasion of the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Kaba, said it was with great honor and privilege that he presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Macky Sall issued by Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, appointing him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of  the Republic of Liberia to Republic of Senegal and the Letter of Recall of his predecessor.


Ambassador Kaba conveyed greetings from Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and expressed hope that further friendship and goodwill be promoted between both countries.  He also spoke of the need to promote trade, Investment and economic exchanges between the two countries and within the sub region in fulfillment of the Development and Economic Diplomacy of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
