The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sent a Congratulatory Message to Her Majesty Queen Beatrix Wilhelmina Armagrad, Queen of the Kingdom of Netherlands on the double occasion marking her ASCENDANCY TO THE THRONE as Queen of the Netherlands and the official observance of the NATIONAL DAY of that country.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued in Monrovia on Monday, President Johnson-Sirleaf in the Message, to Her Majesty Queen Beatrix Wilhelmina Armagrad,   extended heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes to the Queen of the Netherlands, and through her, to the Government and People of the Kingdom of The Netherlands on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Liberia, and in her own name.

The Liberian leader further expressed hope that the cordial and bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation that subsist between the two governments and peoples will be further concretized as the two countries work together for the attainment of global peace and stability. President Johnson-Sirleaf then wished for her majesty, the Government and People of the Netherlands continued peace, happiness and prosperity.
