President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has extended warmest felicitations and best wishes to the Government and People of Greece on the historic and joyous occasion marking the National Day of that country.

In her message to the Government and People of Greece, President Johnson-Sirleaf expressed best wishes on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name, and hoped that the bilateral ties subsisting between the two countries will be further concretized in the years ahead.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Liberian leader further prayed that the Government of Greece will continue to play an active role in global efforts for peaceful co-existence among all nations, and that that country will continue to enjoy the blessings of peace, unity and prosperity.
