President Weah Hails Montenegro, São Tomé and Príncipe
President George Manneh Weah has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Montenegro on the occasion marking the observance of that country’s National Day.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia extended heartfelt best wishes to His Excellency Mr. Milo Dukanovic and through him to the Government and People of Montenegro.
“We recalled with delight four years ago, when relations between our two countries were bolstered by signing of protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations. Since then, we have held common position on many global issues including the fight against terrorism, inclusive development and climate change,” stressed President Weah.
The Liberian leader emphasized that Liberia join to celebrate this landmark occasion with an eye to strengthening the relations of both countries in areas of agriculture, education, science, technology and innovation.
President Weah then assured of Liberia’s continued commitment to the shared global obligation of Liberia and Montenegro to the enhancement of human dignity and equality.
President Weah wished His Excellency Mr. Milo Dukanovic good health, happiness and long life and for the people of Montenegro unyielding progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, President George Manneh Weah has sent a message of congratulations to H. E. Mr. Evaristo Carvalho, President of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe and through him to the Government and People on the occasion marking the 43rd Independence Anniversary.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Carvalho, the Government and People of São Tomé and Príncipe.
As the people of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe celebrate this historic event, the Liberian leader stressed that it his fervent prayer that the relations between both countries will be further strengthened for the mutual benefits of the peoples of Liberia and Sao Tome and Principe.
President Weah than prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow His Excellency Mr. Carvalho with manifold blessings as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
