President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal on the occasion marking his re-election as President of that West African state.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Senegalese counterpart on his re-election to the highest office of the Republic of Senegal.

In his message to his Senegalese President, President Weah Expressed confidence that as President Sall continues the herculean task of further shaping the future of his country, the bond of friendship and cooperation subsisting between both countries and peoples will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity and cooperation.

The Liberian leader then prayed that as President Sall once more begins this arduous journey, the Almighty Allah will continue to endow the Senegalese leader with increased wisdom and resilience to lead the people of Senegal to prosperity and happiness under his dynamic leadership.
