President Weah Congratulates Belarus On National Day’s Celebration
The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the Republic of Belarus on the occasion commemorating the National Day of that country on July 3, 2018.
July 3 is celebrated as Belarus’ Independence Day. On this glorious day in 1944 Minsk, the country's capital, was finally liberated from the Nazi Germany occupation.
In his Message to His Excellency Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, President Weah, in his own name and on behalf of Liberia, extended sincere congratulations to the Government and People of Belarus on the celebration of this historic event.
The Liberian leader said “Liberia and Belarus enjoy a remarkable relationship which is characterized by cordiality and harmony.”
He wished that the relation will be further cemented through sustained engagement in the areas of agriculture, scientific and technical cooperation that will inspire collaboration of their peoples.
As the country commemorate this special occasion, President Weah said “We acknowledge and appreciate Belarus as an arbiter of peace and stability.”
He then wished for President Lukashenko and for the people of Belarus, good health and happiness.
