President Sirleaf Congratulates The State of Kuwait on its 53rd Independence Anniversary
The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Madam. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the State of Kuwait on the occasion marking the 53rdIndependence Anniversaryof that Country.
In her message to His Royal Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Emir of the State of Kuwait, President Sirleaf extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of the State of Kuwaiton behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.
The Liberian leader expressed the hope that as the people of Kuwait celebrate this historic event, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation which subsist between both countries will be strengthened in the spirit of Afro-Arab solidarity.
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf then wished that both countries continue to collaborate in furtherance of deeper cooperation at the United Nations and other International forums aimed at promoting international peace, security and cooperation among all nations. She prayed that the Almighty Allah will endow His Royal Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabahwith abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
