The President of  the Republic of Liberia , Her Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson  Sirleaf  has sent a congratulatory   message to the Government and People of the  Republic of  Romania on the celebration marking  the official  observance  of the 66th National Day-Unification Day of  Romania.

In  her message to her Romanian Counterpart,  H.E. President  Traian Basescu,  President Johnson  Sirleaf   on behalf  of Liberia extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes   to  the Government and People  of Romania  following the celebration of this historic event
on Sunday , December 1, 2013.

A Foreign Ministry release added that the Liberian President noted that in furtherance of the cordial and harmonious relations which so happily subsists between the two countries, both Governments will continue to work together to strengthen their relations and discover new and more rewarding areas of greater cooperation in order to further contribute meaningfully to the advancement of human dignity and better understanding amongst nations and peoples of the world.
 

The Liberian leader then wished for President Basescu personal good health, long life and happiness as he steers the affairs of his People.

She then and prayed that the People of Romania will continue to enjoy the blessing of peace unity and prosperity.
