President Johnson-Sirleaf Consoles Indonesia
President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sent a message of condolences to the President, Government and People of the Republic of Indonesia on the sad news of a fatal plane crash on the Island of Java killing at least Ninety-Seven people.
In the message to Her Indonesian counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President Johnson-Sirleaf extends heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the Indonesian leader, and through him, to the Government and People of Indonesia, particularly the bereaved family.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Johnson-Sirleaf further expressed deepest regret over the irreparable loss sustained by the People and Government of the Republic of Indonesia as a result of this deadly plane crash which leaves more than 97 killed.
The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty God will grant President Yudhoyono and the People of Indonesia solace, strength and courage as he leads the people of Indonesia during this period of National Mourning.
