The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf over the weekend sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Singapore on the occasion marking the 49^th Independence Anniversary of that Country on August 9, 2014.

In her Message to H.E. Mr. Tony Tan, President of the Republic of Singapore, President Johnson Sirleaf on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Singapore as the country celebrates 49 years of Independence.

“As Liberia joins the People of Singapore in celebrating this great occasion, we are hopeful that the strong bond of friendship subsisting between our two countries will be further cemented from the promotion of cooperation based on mutual interests of our respective peoples,” President Johnson Sirleaf noted.
