President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Congratulates Canada and Djibouti

The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency  Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent two separate messages of congratulations to the Governments and Peoples of the Republic of Canada and the Republic of Djibouti on the occasions commemorating the One Hundred and Forty-Seventh (147th) Canada Day on July 1, 2014, and the 37th Independence Anniversary of Djibouti respectively.

 

 In her message to Right Honorable David Johnston, Governor-General of Canada, President Johnson Sirleaf extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Canada following the official observance of that country’s historic event on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia.

 

While expressing satisfaction over Liberia-Canada Relations, the Liberian President stated that the friendship and constructive cooperation between Liberia and Canada will always continue to fulfill the shared ambitions of the peoples of both countries.

  

The Liberian leader then wished for Governor -Generalpersonal well-being and good health and for the People of Canada continued peace and success.

 

And to the Government and People of Djibouti, President Johnson Sirleaf stated, “I am also delighted to assure you of my Government’s determination to continue to strengthen the cordial relations existing between our two countries as we endeavor to improve prosperity for our Peoples and lead them to  brighter future”.
