The President of the Republic of Liberia His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on the celebration marking Greece’s National Day on March 25. 
 
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai, on behalf of the Government and the spirited people of the Republic of Liberia and in his own name, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of the Hellenic Republic of Greece, as they celebrate their Independence Anniversary. 

President Boakai stressed that as the people of Greece celebrate this historic day, he is grateful for the warm and cordial ties that have flourished between the two countries and peoples.   

The Liberian leader further expressed hope that the longstanding bilateral relations and cooperation will develop into new avenues in key sectors like agriculture, education, sanitation, and tourism. He also committed himself to a shared vision of fostering global peace and security. 

President Boakai then wished his counterpart enduring health and joy and for the people of Greece, genuine progress, and prosperity.
