The 2024 Korea–Africa Summit is a grand-scale economic event where major government officials, business leaders, and economic experts are brought together to discuss agendas such as industrial development, trade expansion, strengthening food and mineral security, and responses to climate change, all of which are of mutual interest to the Korea and Africa.
President Boakai arrives in vibrant Seoul, South Korea, for the Korea-Africa Summit. This significant event marks a key opportunity to strengthen ties and foster cooperation between Korea and African nations.
President Boakai had the honor of meeting with the President of South Korea, H.E Yook Suk Yeol, and First Lady Mrs. Kim Keon-hee, along with other esteemed African leaders ahead of the Korea-Africa Business Summit. The South Korean Leader graciously hosted a welcoming reception and dinner, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual respect.
President Boakai had the honor of meeting with President Nana Akufo-Addo, the esteemed President of the Republic of Ghana, ahead of the Korea-Africa Business Summit. President Akufo-Addo is among the distinguished African leaders gathered in the vibrant city of Seoul for the Korea-Africa Summit, hosted by the government and the people of South Korea. This summit represents a significant opportunity to strengthen economic ties and foster collaboration between Africa and Korea.
President Boakai had the honor of meeting with President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone ahead of the Korea-Africa Business Summit, fostering regional cooperation and strategic partnerships.
President Boakai had the honor of meeting with President Faure Gnassingbé of the Togolese Republic ahead of the Korea-Africa Business Summit. Both leaders are among the esteemed African delegates in the vibrant city of Seoul, attending the Korea-Africa Summit hosted by the gracious government and people of South Korea.
