President Weah Sends Congratulatory Message to President Conde- Extols Him on Re-Election As President of Guinea

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to Professor Alpha Conde, President of the Republic of Guinea, on the occasion marking his re-election as President of that West African State.

 

 According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own, expressed profound congratulations and best wishes, noting that the re-election of Professor Conde is a manifestation of trust and confidence the people of Guinea reposed in his ability to lead them.   

 

The Liberian President further entertained the hope that as Professor Alpha Conde, again assumes this noble but huge responsibility in shaping the future of his country, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity as both leaders  work together in furtherance of the principles of the Mano River Union, ECOWAS, African Union and the United Nations for the promotion of regional and international peace and security.  

 

The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty Allah will continue to endow President Conde with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
