President Weah Sends Condolence Message to Ethiopia, Following Tragic Plane Crash; -Consoles Gov’t & Bereaved Families

President George Manneh Weah has sent a condolence message to the Government and people of the  Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, following a tragic crash of an  Ethiopian Airlines Flight on March 10, 2019,  killing all one hundred and fifty-seven passengers and crew members on board, including more than thirty (30) different nationalities.

 

 

“It is with profound shock and deep sorrow that we have learned of the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight numbers 302, early March 2019,” the Liberian President expressed with deep regrets. 

 

 

In the message to his Ethiopian counterpart, Her Excellency Sahle-Work Zewde, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt condolences to the Ethiopian leader, and through her, to the Government and people of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, especially the bereaved families for the irreparable loss sustained as a result of this tragic incident.

 

 

The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty God will grant President Sahle-Work Zewde and the bereaved families strength, courage and fortitude as they go through this period of national mourning.
