President Weah Applauds Kenya on 54th Independence Observance

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to theGovernment and people of the Republic of Kenya on the auspicious occasion commemorating the 54th Independence Anniversary of that country. 

 

In the message to His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Kenyan leader, and through him, to the Government and people of Kenya as they celebrate this historic milestone.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah entertained the hope that as Liberia joins Kenya in celebrating this historic occasion, the cordial ties of friendship already subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two nations.

 

The Liberian leader also expressed confidence that the relationship between Liberia and Kenya will continue to flourish as the two governments intensify their efforts to leveraging the Agreement on the African Free Trade Area so as to expand the volume of trade and partnership between Liberia and Kenya.

 

The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to inspire His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta with His Manifold blessings as he continues to lead his compatriots to nobler heights and prosperity.
