Foreign Minister Nyanti Holds Strategic Meeting with KSRelief Leadership to Strengthen Humanitarian Cooperation
Liberia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), during a diplomatic mission aimed at deepening humanitarian cooperation between Liberia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting, which took place at KSRelief headquarters in Riyadh, focused on reinforcing bilateral collaboration and mobilizing urgent humanitarian support to address pressing development challenges in Liberia. Foreign Minister Nyanti emphasized the significance of the visit as a step towards strengthening the already cordial relations with KSRelief, especially in light of recent funding constraints caused by the reduction of USAID assistance to Liberia. "We are here today to build on the strong foundation of partnership we’ve shared with KSRelief and to explore ways to bridge the critical gaps created by the USAID aid cut," said Foreign Minister Nyanti.

“We value our friendship with Liberia and your continued engagement with KSRelief,” Dr. Al Rabeeah stated. “Our center stands ready to work closely with you to help revive and strengthen Liberia’s health sector. We are optimistic about the future of this collaboration, especially under your stewardship, which demonstrates a clear commitment to transparency and impactful results.” Dr. Al Rabeeah reaffirmed KSRelief’s commitment to supporting Liberia’s efforts through targeted humanitarian projects and pledged to explore avenues of expanded cooperation in health, education, and other critical sectors. The meeting concluded with mutual expressions of commitment to enhancing strategic coordination in humanitarian efforts and expanding the scope of support for the Liberian people.
