Foreign Minister Findley Seeks Investments To Enhance Pro-Poor Agenda

Liberian Foreign Minister Gbehzohngar Milton Findley is encouraging foreign Partners and investors to come and invest in Liberia aimed at enhancing the Government’s Pro-Poor Agenda For Development and Prosperity enunciated by President George Manneh Weah.

Foreign Minister Findley said the Government of Liberia under President Weah has embarked on key development priorities aimed at alleviating poverty on the ordinary Liberians people as part of its Pro-Poor Developmental approach.

According to a Foreign Ministry Release, Minister Findly made the assertion on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 when the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary designate of the Republic of Korea to Liberia, His Excellency Lee In-tae presented him copies of his Letters of Credence at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He is expected to officially present his Credentials to President George Manneh Weah after all necessary protocol arrangements are concluded.

Minister Findley called on Ambassador Lee In-tae to encourage investors from the Republic of Korea to come and investors in key sectors of the Liberian economy so as to enhance economic growth and development.

 

He told Ambassador Lee that President George Manneh Weah is focusing on addressing the challenges facing ordinary Liberians people, as such, the argent need for international support from friendly countries and foreign investors cannot be overemphasized.

 

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Lee In-tae said his country has already been engaged with Liberia, especially in the areas of health and fields.

 

He stressed that both countries have shared values and priority areas in common in which they could collaborate efforts for mutual benefits of their people including Science and Technology, Education and Agriculture. He then added that his government remains supportive to the Liberian development agenda.
