President Weah Extols Cameroonian President Biya on Re-Election
President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon following his re-election as President of the Republic of Cameroon.
President Biya’s victory in the recent poll has renewed his mandate and reaffirmed the confidence and trust the People of Cameroon reposed in his ability to lead them.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Paul Biya on his re-election as President of that country.
“As you continue to assume the herculean task of shaping the future of your great country, I entertain the hope that the people of Cameroon will enjoy the blessings of peace, unity and prosperity,” President Weah declared.
The Liberian leader further assured His Cameroonian counterpart of his government’s determination to continue the cordial relations subsisting between Liberia and Cameroon as the two leaders endeavor to promote the principles of international peace and economic development under the ambits of the African Union and the United Nations.
President George Manneh Weah then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow His Excellency Paul Biya with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to nobler heights.
