Foreign Minister Findley Graces Official Launch of the National Center for the Coordination of the Response Mechanism, (NCCRM)

The Foreign Minister of Liberia, Gbehzonhgar Milton Findley on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, joined stakeholders at the UNMIL Headquarters, Pan-African Plaza, to officially launch the National Center for the Coordination of the Response Mechanism (NCCRM) in Liberia.

The National Center for the Coordination of the Response Mechanism is located at the UNMIL Annex Building, Pan-African Plaza.

The colorful event brought together relevant national and international stakeholders including representatives from UNMIL, ECOWAS, the US and the Liberian Government. 

Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, who made special remarks on behalf of the Liberian President, H.E. George Manneh Weah, led the Liberian government officials to the ceremony, including the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Hon. Samuel Tweah, amongst others.  

Also in attendance were the President of the ECOWAS’ Commission, H.E. Marcel Alain de Souza; Deputy SRSG of UNMIL for the Rule of Law H.E. Waldemer Vrey and ECOWAS Ambassador accredited near Monrovia, H. E. Babatunde Ajisome as well as members of the Diplomatic Corps led by its Doyen, the Guinean Ambassador accredited near Monrovia, H.E.  Abdoulaye Doré.
