The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Korea on the auspicious occasion commemorating the 70th Independence Anniversary of that Country on August 15, 2015.

In her message to her Korean Counterpart, Her Excellency Madam Park Geun-Hye, President Sirleaf extended sincere best wishes and felicitations to the Government and People of Korea, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Liberian leader entertained the hope that the vigor in the relations between Korea and Liberia will take an exponential momentum.

President Sirleaf then prayed that as the People of Korea celebrate another year of existence as an independent nation, Madam Geun-Hye’s leadership will continue to create the avenue for economic prosperity and peace for the people of South Korea.
