The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has conveyed a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Congo on the occasion marking the 55th Independence Celebration of that country on August 15, 2015.

In her message to her Congolese Counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President Sirleaf extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of Congo, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.

"As the people of the Republic of Congo celebrate this historic occasion, I pray that God Almighty will continue to endow you with wisdom as you lead your people on the path to lasting peace and security", the Liberia leader stated.
