Singapore Lifts Temporary Visa Requirement on Liberia

The Government of the Republic of Singapore has lifted temporary visa requirement for Liberian citizens effective Saturday, May 30, 2015, following the World Health Organization's declaration on May 9, 2015 that Liberia is free of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Singaporean Government on November 3, 2014 placed temporary visa issuance requirement on holders of Liberian passports due to the outbreak of the deadly Ebola Virus.

 

The Government of Singapore has committed itself to strengthen its ties with the Government and people of Liberia.
