The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the States of Qatar on the occasion marking the Independence of that Country.

In the message to His Highness Tamin Bin Hamad Al Thani, President Sirleaf extended on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name, warmest felicitation and best wishes to the Government and People of the State of Qatar and expressed her delight that as the people of Liberia join the friendly people of Qatar in celebrating this memorable occasion, it is her hope that the two countries will continue to cement and nourish their cordial relationship.  

President Sirleaf prayed that the Almighty Allah will endow His Highness Tamin Bin Hamad Al Thani with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people through peace, unity and to greater prosperity.
