The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has congratulated the Government and People of Finland on the occasion marking its 96th Independence Anniversary. 

 

 In her message to His Excellency Sauli Vainamo Niinisto, President of Finland. President Johnson Sirleaf   on behalf of Liberia extended heartfelt congratulations and sincerest best wishes on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name as Finland observes this historic occasion. 

 

While expressing joy over the event, President Johnson Sirleaf  expressed hope that the two Governments will continue to work together to ensure that the ties of friendship  between Liberia and Finland will grow from strength to strength,  reaffirming Liberia’s commitment  to  collaborate with  Finland  for  the promotion and maintenance of international peace and security.

 

She then wished for President Niinisto the blessings of peace, good health and prosperity.
