Following the news of a plane crash after takeoff near Lagos Airport’s Domestic Terminal on Thursday killing sixteen (16) people and damaging several properties, the President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a condolence message to the Government and People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

President Johnson Sirleaf on behalf of Liberia extended heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian President His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the Government and People of Nigeria, especially the bereaved families for the irreparable loss sustained as a result of the crash.

The Liberian Leader prayed that God will grant President Jonathan and the People of Nigeria strength, courage and fortitude as they observe this period of national mourning.
